A surprise inheritance reunites a mixed martial arts fighter with the woman he's never forgotten in the first in a smoldering new series from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster…
Cannon Colter is quintessential hero material: chiseled jawline, shredded body—the works. He's also the guy who rescued Yvette Sweeny from kidnappers, only to put an end to her romantic dreams. These days, she's older, smarter, determined to face whatever life throws her way. Even the prospect of sharing a house and business with Cannon.
Cannon knew Yvette wanted him three years ago. But she was young—and some things are worth waiting for. Thrown together by her grandfather's legacy, he realizes how deep Yvette's scars really go, and how much danger lurks in their quiet town. As pent-up desire explodes between them, protecting her becomes the only fight that matters. And he'll break all the rules to do it…

No Limits is the start of Lori Foster’s new Ultimate Fighters series.
I met Cannon is Getting Rowdy and from the moment he showed up I had a bit of a crush on him. He watches out for his people, and the ones who have trouble defending themselves. He then showed up in Dash of Peril, along with Yvette, and this is where their story starts. I will say you do not have to read Dash of Peril before starting No Limits. Cannon and Yvette’s romance begins in No Limits but their backstory is part of Dash but it is completely explained.
Cannon and Yvette have a serious connection, one that goes beyond sexual. They both have dealt with this horrible thing that have shaped them in ways they didn’t even know. But now, time has gone by and they are both back in each other’s lives. However, Yvette is worried that Cannon is only there because of their past together and that he really doesn’t love her.
Cannon, oh boy. He will definitely have you melting. He moves into her life, quite literally and refuses to give up on her. He is so caring and protective of Yvette. He’s all alpha and strong but yet he’s so tender with her. Despite his feeling for her, he holds himself back until she’s ready for more. I love him and he’s my new favorite book boyfriend.
My only really issue was the whole ‘I can’t have an orgasm’ but sure enough she can there, pretty easily if I might add, with Cannon. But that is just a pet peeve of mine. I will say that Cannon is very thorough and the man has skills, other than fighting.
No Limits is a great start to her new series. It’s emotional and heart wrenching but it is also funny and romantic. I also enjoyed running into some familiar faces. I can’t wait for the next book… and for Armie’s story. I feel like he’s going to be a handful and I’m pretty sure it will be Merissa, Cannon’s sister.
