The New York Times bestselling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player starts a brand new story of friends, love, and lust with Book One of the Wild Seasons series.

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

REVIEW:

Christina Lauren has done it again. This book is sweet, filthy and oh boy!

What happens when three friends go to Vegas to celebrate graduation?
  •  Fun? Check.
  • Lots of alcohol consumption? Check.
  • Meeting a Canadian, Frenchman and Australian? Holy fuck. Check, check and check.
  • A night of amazing sex you can't remember? Check, I think.
  • Waking up with a gold band around your finger? OMG.
  • Your friends getting married too? Double OMG.
Mia Holland meets Ansel Guillaume during a celebratory weekend in Vegas. Their chemistry is intense from the begin and becomes completely combustible as their relationship progresses.

Mia makes Ansel promise that they annul their marriage before she heads off to grad school in Boston. Ansel wants Mia to follow him to France but she refuses. At first. One last fight with her father about her conduct over the weekend, she packs up and leaves, bound for France. A nasty flu and a week of lady problems makes for a rocky start to their marriage. Plus, Ansel has to go back to work. Mia is on her own to explore Paris and she does so with enthusiasm even if she has to dip into her savings. But what would you do if you were in a city as awesome as Paris?!

Ansel's past comes back with a vengeance and Mia must figure out if it's worth it to stay married to Ansel once the summer is over. She also needs to make a choice as to whether she'll follow the path her father has set for her.

One of things I loved about this book is Mia's independence. She doesn't really need a man but who can say no to someone as sexy as Ansel? I sure as heck wouldn't. Also? I've put Paris on my bucket list.

Sweet Filthy Boy has everything you would expect from a Christina Lauren book: an engaging story, memorable secondary characters, a little bit sweet, a whole lot of hot, the occasional panty dropping sex scene—okay, this one has quite a few—and of course, a reader's need for MORE once you read the last page.

I am definitely looking forward to the next book. Is it November yet?!

Favorite Quote:
"He lives in France, she's moving to Boston, which is only marginally closer to France than San Diego. If you have sex with Ansel," she says to me, "it will be solid missionary with tons of talking and soft-focus eye contact. That's not one-night-stand sex."

"You guys are freaking me out right now," I tell them.

"Then she can just insist on doggy, what's the problem?" Harlow asks, bewildered.
