Forever Romance Great Scot Blog Tour with Sue-Ellen Welfonder and Paula Quinn + #Giveaway

Today we have two lovely historical authors from Forever Romance sharing their sexy Scots. Be sure to enter the giveaway!

Meet Sue-Ellen:
Sue-Ellen Welfonder is a Scotophile whose burning wish to make frequent trips to the land of her dreams led her to a twenty-year career with the airlines.

Now a full-time writer, she's quick to admit that she much prefers wielding a pen to pushing tea and coffee. She makes annual visits to Scotland, insisting they are a necessity, as each trip gives her inspiration for new books.

Proud of her own Hebridean ancestry, she belongs to two clan societies: the MacFie Clan Society and the Clan MacAlpine Society. In addition to Scotland, her greatest passions are medieval history, the paranormal, and dogs. She never watches television, loves haggis, and writes at a 450-year-old desk that once stood in a Bavarian castle.

Sue-Ellen is married and currently resides with her husband and Jack Russell terrier in Florida.

Meet Paula:
New York Times bestselling author Paula Quinn lives in New York with her three beautiful children, three over-protective chihuahuas, and a loud umbrella cockatoo. She loves to read romance and science fiction and has been writing since she was eleven. She loves all things medieval, but it is her love for Scotland that pulls at her heartstrings.

5 Sexy Scots in books, movies, or real life

Sue-Ellen Welfonder: Hi Jamie and Kati! Thanks so much for being a tour host. These tours are always fun and I adore your question. What’s better (or sexier) than hot Scottish men? Nothing, so here you go:
  1. Robert the Bruce. Scotland’s hero king and my lifelong crush, he tops my list. In addition to his all around greatness, he was quite a ladies’ man. It is said no woman could resist him and as he is still winning hearts all these centuries later, I’m sure that is true.
  2. William Wallace. Big man, big sword, big heart. Need I say more? Truly one of Scotland’s greatest, he defines hero. Along with terrifying the English, he surely also melted women.
  3. Sir Sean Connery. He just gets better with age, still sexy as ever, and proving that there really must be something in all that cold, clean Scottish air. On my sex appeal meter, he outranks any younger man.
  4. Alex Salmond. First Minister of Scotland and Leader of the Scottish National Party. A brilliant orator, he is spearheading Scotland’s ‘Yes!” campaign, following in the footsteps of the Bruce and Wallace in the push for Scottish independence. I think that makes him pretty darn hot.
  5. Greyfriars Bobby. As an animal lover, I must include wee Bobby, a Skye terrier who lived in 19th C. Edinburgh and was so devoted to his master that he spent 14 years guarding the man’s grave. No Scottish hero list is complete for me without him. Learn more about Greyfriars Bobby.
Thanks so much, Ladies! And thanks to everyone stopping by today. The above list could actually be endless, Scottish men are that wonderful. As proof, how about the Glasgow taxi driver who once returned to my hotel to give me a lovely Scottish calendar as a leave-taking of Scotland gift? I’d spent the taxi ride gushing about Scotland and bemoaning my next morning departure back to the States. He came back a short while later with the calendar for me, a special keepsake I cherish to this day. Scotsmen rock!

Good luck in the drawing! I hope you’ll enjoy TO LOVE A HIGHLANDER.
