"It's not you."

There are only so many times a girl can hear those words before she believes that it is, in fact, very much her. Unexpectedly jilted by her locally famous boyfriend and haunted by a boss who makes Attila the Hun look like a lap dog, Bellamy Blake does what any self-respecting girl in her shoes would do. She rounds up her two best girlfriends and makes plans to get the hell out of Dodge.

But Bellamy's escape plan takes a nose dive on the side of rural route 164 when her transmission self-destructs, leaving her in the middle of a cell phone dead zone with nothing but her wits. Oh, and Shane Griffin, the hottest mechanic who's ever checked under her hood.

Yet this small-town man isn't all he seems. Can Shane and Bellamy prove that sometimes the most unlikely ingredients make the most deliciously sexy mix?

REVIEW:

Confession: I own every Kimberly Kincaid book there is but this is the first one I've cracked open and holy crap. I was missing out!
  • Finding out your supposedly moving cross country from your best friends? Check
  • Leaving town for some much needed relaxation with your BFFs? Check
  • Car breaking down in the mountains? Check
  • Getting rescued by a sexy mechanic? Check
  • Super attracted to said mechanic? Check and check
  • Panty melting kisses and some back seat lovin'? Check
Bellamy Blake is so over being the last to know that she's the last to know she would be moving cross country only to be jilted. A mountain getaway with her two BFFs is just what the doctor ordered. Breaking down on the way there? Not part of the plan. Also, Bosszilla demanding Bellamy do some work while she knows Bellamy is away in the mountains with crappy service? Not okay.

Shane Griffin has a thing against the big city but he won't talk about it. A year ago, he left all that and ended up working at a garage. Since he was a kid, he's always had a thing for cars and everything that goes with them. One sexy city girl shakes his world and now he must figure out whether or not he would do anything to keep her by his side.

I really enjoyed my first taste of Kimberly Kincaid's writing and I will be going back for seconds, thirds and fourths. You'll laugh out loud with Bellamy's friends and their hysterical banter. You'll sigh at Shane's....everything. Be sure to have some snacks on hand because any mention of food throughout this book had my mouth salivating. The best part? There's three recipes at the end that you can try out.

Her fiery attitude had gotten her stranded out in the middle of nowhere with a sizzling hot car mechanic whose sharp tongue wasn't limited to his snappy wit.
