Oh Tiffany Reisz. What is there to say about this author? Her books are brilliant and we can't seem to stop wanting more. She gives us characters to fall in love with, a story to mindfuck us over and aftercare in the form of free stories on her site. Today she shares her list of heroes and we had to smile at Mister December. For those of you who have read her books...Winter is coming ;)
When not under arrest, Tiffany enjoys Latin Dance, Latin Men, and Latin Verbs. She dropped out of a conservative southern seminary in order to pursue her dream of becoming a smut peddler. Johnny Depp’s aunt was her fourth grade teacher. Her first full-length novel THE SIREN was inspired by a desire to tie up actor Jason Isaacs (on paper). She hopes someday life will imitate art (in bed).
If she couldn’t write, she would die.

Tiffany's 12 Romance Heroes
Hello Snow Angels!
It’s almost 2014 and in 2014 I want to spend the year with the coolest heroes out there. To be a hero in my book, you have to have more going for you than looks. You have to be hilarious, forgiving, brilliant, or all of the above…
Here are my More Than a Pretty Face Heroes of 2014!
Mister January – Nelson Mandela
He is gone but never forgotten. In the cold month of January I’ll remember the warmth, grace, and forgiveness he showed the people who imprisoned him and the government that oppressed his people, and the example of reconciliation he set for the rest of the world.
Mister February – Andrew Shaffer
He’s a former Mister Romance contestant and my Mister Romance every single day. My Valentine this year is the author of FIFTY SHAMES OF EARL GREY and my very own boyfriend.
Mister March – Pope Francis
In spring, the cold world starts to warm up. Hearts all over are thawing, because of Pope Francis’s humility and love. He’s won over my dark heart!
Mister April – Batman
Either Michael Keaton or Christian Bale will do (or Adam West for old time’s sake). Batman has no superpowers. He uses money (lots of it) and his brain to save the day again and again. My kind of guy!
Mister May – The Earl of Rule from A Convenient Marriage by Georgette Heyer
The 35-year-old Earl of Rule never knew what hit him when he married 17-year-old Horatia, Horry for short. She might be a Countess but she’s also a hot mess and only with the patience of Job and a laugh-out-loud sense of humor does my Lord of Rule finally help his child bride grow into a lady.
Mister June – Alexander Hamilton
He gave America its first juicy sex scandal and he got his handsome mug on the ten-dollar bill. Once upon a time, America’s budget was balanced and our bills were paid and that is all thanks to Alexander Hamilton, our country’s sexiest founding father.
Mister July – Father James Martin, SJ
He’s the Official Chaplain of The Colbert Nation and a handsome, funny Jesuit priest. His book The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything is a must-read for anyone wanting to see the world through the eyes of the Jesuits, otherwise known as the Army of God.
Mister August – Gaspard Ulliel
August is the hottest month of the year so we need the hottest man of the year! Gaspard Ulliel is a French model and actor and when I write my notorious Frenchman hero Kingsley Edge, it’s Gaspard I see. If you want to see him in action, go to YouTube and type in “Chanel Bleu commercial.” I dare you. (Readers, we did it for you.)
Mister September – Josh Hutcherson from The Hunger Games
What can I say? I’m Team Peeta! Maybe it’s because Josh is from Kentucky (like I am) or maybe it’s because he’s blond (you know I love blonds). But I think the real reason I Heart Peeta is because he’s obviously a male submissive and would do anything Mistress Katniss told him. Like a good boy.
Mister October – Christopher Plummer
Something wicked this way comes, and it’s something wicked that Christopher Plummer is still so damn handsome even in his 80s. Is it a mask? A costume? Did he sell his soul to the devil? Or is he just blessed? Don’t know. Don’t care. Just put on The Sound of Music. Christopher Plummer is one of MY favorite things.
Mister November – My Daddy
November is my father’s birthday month and there’s no denying I’m a daddy’s girl. In 2010, I was too broke to attend a writer’s conference even though it was my only chance to meet my new agent. My father told my mother they should pay for it because I needed to go. I met my future editor there and the rest is history!
Mister December – Søren/ie The Rev. Dr. Marcus Stearns, SJ
I know it’s cheating to put one of my own characters on my “More Than Just a Pretty Face” Heroes of 2014 list, but while writing The Mistress, even I was surprised by the depth of Søren’s love for Nora and Kingsley and his willingness to sacrifice himself. In my mind he looks like actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Blond, Danish, wicked, beautiful. And Søren’s birthday is December 21st-the longest night of the year, because if you’re going to spend a night with Søren, you’d want it to last as long as possible.
