Katharine's 12 Romance Heroes

Thanks for inviting me back to the Joyathon, Kati and Jamie. It’s always such a pleasure to be your guest. That said, I have a problem: I’ve read so many dreamy heroes, I don’t know how to narrow them down to twelve! So I’ll offer here a few of my favorites with the caveat that these are only a sampling of the heroes I adore. Admittedly, some of them aren’t romance heroes in the strictest sense, rather romantic adventure heroes. But I go weak-in-the-knees for a man with a sword in his hand, so I can’t help myself…

January – Flynn Rider a.k.a. Eugene Fitzherbert from Disney’s Tangled

February – Cam Rohan from Lisa Kleypas’s Mine Till Midnight

March – Westley a.k.a. The Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride

April – Francis Crawford from Dorothy Dunnett’s The Game of Kings

May – Bentley “Hell-Bent” Rutledge from Liz Carlyle’s The Devil You Know

June – Admiral Branden Kel-Paten from Linnea Sinclaire’s Games of Command

July – The Duke of Ashbrooke from Maya Rodale’s The Wicked Wallflower

August – Captain Frederick Wentworth from Jane Austen’s Persuasion

September – S.T. Maitland from Laura Kinsale’s The Prince of Midnight

October – Aragorn, King of Gondor, from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings

November – Rachel Gibson’s Nick Allegrezza from Truly Madly Yours

December – In honor of the holidays if I may… Cam Westfall, the Earl of Bedwyr, from my new novella Kisses, She Wrote (A Christmas Romance)

A joyous season of love to everyone!

But when Cam discovers the maiden's not-so-maidenly diary, will her wildest Christmas wishes be fulfilled in its pages . . . or in his arms?
