December Joyathon 2013: Brandy Walker's 12 Romance Heroes of Christmas + #Giveaway (US/International)

Before Brandy Walker was an author, we knew her as a fellow reader who we had met at several conventions. Today, she helps us celebrate with her list of romance heroes and we hope you'll discover her wonderful TIGER NIP series.

Meet Brandy:
As a teenager Brandy would spend time at her Nana and Papa’s writing angst filled stories of unrequited love. All revolving around whatever cute boy she had a crush on at the time. The stories, which no longer exist, were a way to get out the emotions bottled up inside. After a time her interests changed and writing got left behind.

After rediscovering her love of reading, romance to be specific, story ideas starting popping up in her head. With some prodding from her friends she decided to try her hand at writing romance and has written around ten stories in various states of completion. With a plan in place she’s hoping to bring more of her stories to life.

Brandy is a Navy brat, prior enlisted Army, current Army wife, and mom. She lives in Washington State with her husband of 18 years, three kids and one dog.

Brandy's 12 Romance Heroes

If I would put together a 12-month calendar of my favorite heroes I might die and go to Heaven. Or lock myself in the office and spend the next week or month drooling over them. A couple of my guys are from when I really got into reading romance a handful of years ago. I’m totally attracted to built, badass tattooed men. Damaged heroes that don’t think they deserve love but have the most romantic notions or obsessions. lol

January: Sampson Hart – Claiming More by Brandy Walker. Yes, I’m picking my own character to start off my calendar. I adore Sam and have a thing for Gingers.

February: Bran Johnson – Tease Me by Melissa Schroeder. He’s a Marine. What more do I need to say?

March: Brax – Love & Tattoos by Lissa Matthews. Bearded and tattooed. He’s intelligent and a free spirit. Imagine all of the hours you could spend in his arms tracing tattoos and exploring that hard body. *sigh*

April: Colin Bridgerton – Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia “Freaking Badass” Quinn. There is just something about that man that I love.

May: King Taylor & Royce Harley – Submission to Desire by Leah Brooke. Tag team baby! I have always loved these two from the Desire, Oklahoma series. Two men. Night and day. Both driving me to distraction. Yeah, I’ll take that.

June: Sebastian, Viscount St. Vincent – Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. He’s dangerous and sexy as hell. And I’d get to sneak down and gamble!

July: Officer Hunky...oh sorry, I mean Michael – Arrested Holiday by Lissa Matthews. There is no other man I want handling those handcuffs.

August: Evan Chambers – A Little Harmless Obsession by Melissa Schroeder. I really have no words. He’s just—Evan. Hot, sexy and when he fixes on something and unleashes all of the pent up passion….WOW!

September: Joe Ramsey – Tempt Me Tonight by Toni Blake. He made a mistake and did what he thought was best. But man he sure knows how to make it up to a woman. He was one of my first book crushes.

October: Nicodemus Blackburn – Desire By Blood by Melissa Schroeder. Victorian Vampire! Proper with a dash of vampire goodness.

November: Braden Stone – Voyeur by Lacey Alexander. Another one of my first book crushes. He’s always stuck in my mind and just freaking love him!

December: Jaz from Ink Spot by Lissa Matthews. There is no doubt in my mind he would be able to keep me warm, cozy and entertained.

It took me a while to compile this list. There are so many guys that wanted on the list so I took a cross section, sorta, of the ones I love the most.

I would like to mention one man that isn’t a hero of any book but such a fantastic character in the background that I’ve probably loved him the longest. Dillon Carlyle from the Men of August Series by Lora Leigh. I STILL have fantasies about that man.
