REVIEW:

Monica Murphy knocks it out of the park again with Torn, book two in her Billionaire Bachelor Club series. Torn is a quick, sexy, steamy read that will have you fanning yourself. I had a hard time trying to put it down and get stuff done. In the end, Gage won.

I was so excited for Gage’s book after finishing Crave. Gage has this sexy confidence and charm that makes your panties melt. He’s never met a challenge he couldn’t conquer. Whether it’s his bet with his friends for a million dollars to be the last man standing or a sexy blonde who hates him. Marina intrigues Gage and he finds himself drawn to her.

Marina hates Gage and everything he stands for. In her eyes he’s trying to ruin her family and take away her legacy. But despite that she can’t deny the way he turns her on. They both know that getting involved would be bad, but sometimes bad is so good. Their chemistry is off the charts and as soon as they give into it they can’t keep their hands off each other.

Gage is up there as one of my favorite heroes. He’s sexy, cocky and charming. But he’s just like a typical guy that tends to put his foot in his mouth. And I love that Marina calls him on it. I also think that’s what makes Gage so likable. He’s not perfect. I also love that he’s a good guy. Even after all the nasty things Marina says to him, he still helps her.

Marina is a feisty thing. I love that she doesn’t just fall at Gage’s feet and really makes him work for it. But she’s also not afraid to admit that she wants him either. At times she is a bit harsh towards him and overreacts a bit, but that could be the Sicilian in her.

I only wish that Torn was longer. But I’m greedy like that. I really wanted to see more of how Gage and Marina fell into a relationship. They went from hating each other and having sex in the kitchen, to liking each other and having sex in a car, to then just falling into an easy relationship where they are always together. I just wish I would’ve seen more of them getting together.

Torn is a perfect blend of drama, wit, and sexiness. I absolutely adore Monica Murphy’s writing and cannot wait for Matt’s book.
