She's been broken by her past. He's been breaking for as long as he can remember. Together, they can make each other whole--or destroy each other.
When his best friend asks for something, Dane rarely says no. But babysitting a newly sober Scout Grimes for three weeks isn't exactly a normal request. And with their history, it's a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, she's drop dead gorgeous and he can't touch her.
There are few people Scout trusts as much as Dane Guillot. He's always been her safe place, where nothing can hurt her. He's also been the only man she's never let herself want--screwing up their friendship isn't worth one amazing night together.
They have too much history, and too much personal baggage to ever work. But if they are willing to take a chance on love--it might be worth the risk.

Other Book in Series:
We meet Dane Guillot in the first book This Love, which I loved, and he was sexy and badass and a bit mysterious. He makes no excuses for who he is and what he does. Yes, he’s a bit of an asshole but there was more to him, especially with the way he was with Scout. Scout Grimes is Dane’s best friend's sister. She is also an addict. At the end of This Love Scout shows up and Dane sends her to rehab, again. Even in those few moments together you could tell that there was a special bond between them.
Beautiful Broken starts with Dane picking up Scout from rehab. Scout has been to rehab before but this time she means to make it work and Dane is going to do everything in his power to help her, even if it means having her stay with him. Dane has always been there for Scout and he knows her better than anyone else, even her brother. He’s the only one that knows her secret, and the reason she started using. But Dane has his own issues and having Scout there tempting him isn’t going to help.
I loved Dane and Scout together. Dane and Scout are each other’s safe place. A place where they can be themselves and not have to worry about being judged. I also love how they both admit that they love each other but they both don’t want to act on it because they don’t want to lose each other. They both mean so much to each other, and there is the whole Scout is his best friends little sister. But, they are both a bit broken but together their broken pieces fit together perfectly.
Beautiful Broken takes on some dark topics. It will take you on an emotional roller coaster. You will find yourself falling in love with Dane and rooting for Scout.
While I enjoyed Beautiful Broken there were some things that bothered me. I was so excited for Dane and Scout but I felt like some of their story was rushed, especially in the beginning of the book. But towards the middle everything seemed to slow down and the story flowed perfectly.
You don’t need to read This Love before reading Beautiful Broken but I think it would be better if you did. It would give you more of an insight into Dane and Scout. Besides, This Love is a really good story.
*I say 3 Hearts but towards the end its like 4 Hearts *
