Two secrets. One bet. Who will break first?
Taylor Caldwell can't decide if she wants to kiss her new college roommate or punch him.
On the one hand, Hunter Zaccadelli is a handsome blue-eyed bundle of charm. On the other, he's a tattooed, guitar-playing bad boy. Maybe that's why Taylor's afraid of falling in love with him, or anyone else. She doesn't want to get burned, so she needs him gone before it's too late.
Hunter himself has been burned before, but Taylor's sexy laugh and refusal to let him get away with anything make her irresistible. Determined not to be kicked out of her life without a fight, Hunter proposes a bet: if she can convince him she either truly loves or hates him, he'll leave the apartmentand leave her alone.
But when the man behind Taylor's fear of giving up her heart resurfaces, she has to decide: trust Hunter with her greatest secret, or do everything in her power to win that bet and drive him away forever.

Uh, I pretty much lost my whole morning to this dang book and in a good way. Chelsea Cameron is an author that will be at the top of my 'must read' list.
Taylor Caldwell is gearing up for another year of college with two roommates. They're ready to take on the new school year and look forward to meeting their replacement roommate. Enter Hunter Zaccadelli, all tattooed, blue-eyed, cocky, secretive, guitar playing and a damn good cook. The last trait threw me because I know for a fact, my guy friends didn't make culinary masterpieces in college. Mac and cheese, pizza and beer were a staple. Where was my Hunter Zaccadelli in college?
Hunter and Taylor do the whole 'I'm attracted to you, you're attracted to me so we'll eye-fuck the hell out of each other while using our deep dark secrets as a way to close ourselves off from each other.'
All the sexual tension and the 'yes you will', 'no I won't' drove me CRAZY in a good way. I liked that fact that Taylor and Hunter actually got to know each other before jumping in bed together. Usually, it's boy meets girl and a few chapters later, they're banging the headboards like freaking pornstars. Hunter and Taylor balance each other. He's a totally cocky asshole and she won't take any shit from him. I like that in a heroine when she can hold her own.
I'm looking forward to the next book in this series and I'm sure Chelsea Cameron won't disappoint.
"I am what I am. If you don't like it, there's a simple way out of it. You have three options. Hate me, love me, do me. Pick your poison."
