From the moment he lays eyes on Sinners' new front of house soundboard operator, drummer Eric Sticks knows he has to make Rebekah his. Unfortunately, she's too busy trying to seduce guitarist Trey Mills to pay him much attention. Rebekah never planned to fall for the tall, goofy drummer with the weird sense of humor and a heart the size of the galaxy, but Eric makes her laugh and his constant attention makes her feel sexy and irresistible–exactly what she needs after the things her last lover said to her. A woman who gives as much as she takes, Rebekah makes Eric feel like a total stud–exactly what he needs after surviving a decade of watching the incredibly talented members of Sinners from the wings.

Oh, Eric Sticks you came out of nowhere and stole my heart. I think he may have replaced Trey as my favorite Sinner, and we all know how much I LOVE Trey. But Eric is funny, like total goofball funny but is also sexy. And has a heart of gold even after all he’s been through. I dare you not to love him.

Eric was a wild card. Through out the whole series it was as if Eric was on the sidelines. You never really saw him with his own groupies, he was in the background, always just watching. Until he meets Rebekah. His first meeting with her left him tongue-tied. He is smitten right away, but of course Trey stands in his way.

Rebekah always had a thing for Trey but it isn’t until she meets Eric that she realizes she has been fantasizing over the wrong Sinner. The connection between the two of them is immediate that they can’t keep their hands off each other.

Eric and Rebekah together are perfect. They are playful and I loved that. Their role-playing scenes had me laughing, then blushing. Seriously, these two know how to steam up a page. Eric, that man can say the sweetest things and you’re swooning then he turns around and starts with the dirty talk.
“You’re like Mr. Romance and Mr. Porn Star wrapped in one.”
I liked Rebekah. She has a wicked sense of humor and totally gets Eric. She’s had some ups and downs in her life but doesn’t let that hold her back. If anything it helps her live her life. But for me, this was all about Eric. I loved that we finally got to really know him.

I do believe that Wicked Beat is my favorite Sinner novel. It’s one that I want to pick up and read again and again. I’m sad to see the Sinners on Tour series come to an end. I’ll miss those sexy devils!

My only issue, and it has nothing to do with the writing or stories, is that the books were released out of order.
