Welcome to day fifteen of our Sealed with A Kiss event. Debut author Maire Claremont is joining us and helping close down our celebration.
WELCOME TO THE BLOG MAIRE!!!
2011 Golden Heart winner Máire Claremont first fell in love with Mr. Rochester, not Mr. Darcy. Drawn to his dark snark, she longed to find a tortured hero of her own… until she realized the ramifications of Mr. Rochester locking his frst wife up in his attic. Discovering the errors of her ways, Máire now looks for a real-life Darcy and creates deliciously dark heroes on the page. Oh, and she wants everyone to know her name is pronounced Moira. Her parents just had to give her an Irish Gaelic name.

I love the idea of Valentine's Day. Of two lovers asunder desperately trying to communicate and Valentine helping them out! My own hero and heroine are torn asunder and it takes quite a great deal to bring them back together. Set against the dark backdrop of Victorian society, Eva and Ian have so much to face but their love will conquer all! I'm so happy you get to read of their love and how they conquered guilt, shame, and the madhouse to find their happily ever after.
Now, it seems impossible to believe that we are together. That we have survived the fires of our pasts and found love. I am thankful everyday that I returned from India to find you. I always loved you. Since the moment we met as children, I knew you were the girl for me. You clutched that bear your mother had made you and so kindly offered to me just after my parents had died. You stole my heart and you have had it since and will have it always.
Your strength and ability to be kind after so much has befallen you leaves me in continuous awe. I count myself the luckiest of men that I will be able to spend the rest of our days side by side, growing, loving, facing this world and knowing we can surmount it all with each other.
Soon our child will be born. A child of perfect love. The idea of having a family with you fills me with such joy. Can there be such happiness? The answer, my love? Yes. With you in my life, I will never walk through hell again because you are there to pull me away from it. We have fought so hard for our happiness, and now I treasure it beyond all things.
