Hopefully it is the beginning of a long new journey with Lady Lancaster and the Garden Society girls. Certainly historical romance (especially the scandalous kind) is more fun than writing technical documents!

A very faint snore coming from the other side of the carriage roused William's attention.
William was suddenly gripped by such longing it took all of his willpower to remain on his side of the carriage. Everything in him begged to take her up in his arms and kiss her senseless, but William knew if he gave in to that one desire, he wouldn't be able to stop. He would lay her down on the cushions and make love to her right there in the moving vehicle.
Hannah deserved better for her first time than to be ravaged in the back of a carriage, and by someone with less than honorable intentions as he, so he turned to look out the window and willed his body to calm and relax. It was some time, however, before it obeyed.
Hannah woke when the carriage came to a stop in the same alley from which they had departed so many hours earlier. William watched her sit up and rub her face tiredly.
When he saw her look up at him, he was again struck with unbearable longing and he was unable to prevent himself from joining her on her side of the carriage. Lifting his other hand to her face, he leaned in to give her the most reverent kiss. Hannah sighed and her lashes fluttered shut.
William breathed in her sigh as he deepened the kiss and lowered his hands so he could wrap his arms tightly around her. Hannah melted into his embrace. She opened her mouth willingly when his tongue stroked her bottom lip and, with a groan, William plunged into her mouth, eagerly tasting its sweet nectar.
Never before had he been so affected by a woman. Already he was quickly losing what little self-control he had as he plundered the treasure of Hannah's lips and mouth.
When he felt her hands delve into the hair at his neckline, William moaned with pleasure.
Easing her down against the cushions, William allowed his hands to roam as well. He discovered the most delightful rear end, below which extended long, shapely legs, so clearly defined in the linen breeches she had borrowed.
"William," she sighed when he caressed the sensitive skin at the backs of her knees.
"Yes, darling," William responded huskily, as he moved his lips to trail down her long, smooth neck.
"Oh, William" she purred.
Chuckling, he continued his onslaught. His manhood was straining against his trousers and it was all he could do to not unleash it and sink it into Hannah's hot, willing body.
Realizing that he was on the verge of doing what he swore he wouldn't do earlier, taking Hannah's innocence in a carriage, William forced himself to withdraw from the warmth of Hannah's body, drawing her into an upright position at the same time. With her swollen lips and eyes glazed with passion, Hannah was a devastatingly beautiful sight. Closing his eyes, William made a concerted effort to gain control over his traitorous body. He knew he was going to have a hard time getting that image of Hannah out of his head when he was alone tonight.
I am going to have to do something to get her into my bed soon! William thought savagely. But how to do that without ending up inside a church, he did not know.

TAMING HER FORBIDDEN EARL:
Lady Hannah Rochester is an intelligent, headstrong, outspoken woman surrounded by the typically simpering, flighty, nit-witted women of Regency London. Her inability to “dumb-down” has greatly inhibited her mother’s goal of getting her married. Apparently no man wants to be saddled with a woman that thinks! Except perhaps one … William Bredon, the Earl of Pembroke.Get Your Own Copy: Kindle | Nook
Everyone knows William Bredon, the earl of Pembroke, has a reputation as a captivating rogue, determined to never marry until his duty to produce an heir requires it. So when he invites Lady Hannah Rochester to dance, Hannah vows to keep her distance. But the undeniably gorgeous William, with his dark humor and seductive gaze, draws her in nonetheless.
Of course, Lady Hannah is not completely what she seems, either. A member of the dowager Lady Lancaster’s Garden Society, she secretly spends her days solving mysteries and uncovering intrigues, and when she brings William into the fold, a sinister plot develops that brings the two closer together. William’s protective nature ensures he remains by Hannah’s side, but he will not surrender his anti-marriage stance.
Can intrigue, passion, and maybe even a little bit of scandal reform the most notorious of rakes?
