December Joyathon: Interview with Jenn LeBlanc + Giveaway (International)

Jenn is a regular here at Romancing Rakes For The Love of Romance. She's the lady behind Studio Smexy Saturdays and her illustrated romance, THE RAKE AND THE RECLUSE, is one of our favorite books. You may also find Jenn tweeting from the studio during shoots. If you're looking for some smexy for your blog header or your next book cover, check out her stock site. We'll wait. Tis the season!

Meet Jenn:
Colorado. Canon. Curls. CJs. Chuck Norris.
Born and raised in a household of other people’s children in this beautiful state —very nearly with a camera in hand— she never left. She started her own family, got used to the curls, went to college, built a CJ, started a business, and totally beat the daylights out of Chuck Norris, all with a camera in hand.

Spending her days in parenting chat rooms she got highly adept with one-handed typing and she can still type just about as fast with one hand as she can with two. It’s a great talent to have when engrossed in a scene and in need of a hit of caffeine. Once she finished her first novel she quickly realized: She was born a photographer.

From the realization that someone ELSE would be shooting the cover of HER book her control-freak took over. What started as an easy cover shoot ballooned into this completely new kind of media, designed specifically for digital book readers.

She lives and thrives off chaos and the constant flow of the creative process. She wears shorts and flip-flops year-round —much to the chagrin of her friends and family— and she is currently working on the illustrations for her second novel. Her first serial novel THE RAKE AND THE RECLUSE is doing its own Chuck Norris impersonation with the time travel charts on Amazon. You can find her on Twitter and Facebook sharing eye candy (NSFW) and being a photography rock star.

Jamie and Kati: Hi Jenn! Welcome back to Romancing Rakes For The Love of Romance and thanks for celebrating our December Joyathon with us again :)

J&K: Who is Jenn LeBlanc during the holidays? (author, gift giver, last minute shopper, baker)
JL: Toates a last minute shopper I seem to work best on deadline. I guess that’s my lingering journalist.

J&K: What holiday movie is more likely to be playing in your house: Elf, A Christmas Story, or Diehard?
JL: ELF!! The scene where he jumps at the tree? Auto replay. Can’t stop laughing.

J&K: Which 5 authors (dead or alive) would you invite for a holiday feast?
JL: I’m simple. Some of my favorite authors are my dearest friends, so how about a mix of those I adore and those I’d love to know better. Pamela Clare, Delilah Marvelle, Maire Claremont, Joanna Bourne, Elise Rome.

J&K: What’s your favorite thing about the holiday season?

JL: Warm popcorn and cider.

J&K: Who gives the best gifts in your house?

JL: Me.

J&K: What are you excited about for 2013?

JL: Twitchy!!!

J&K:Which of your heroes would you go on a sleigh ride with? (with permission from the heroine of course)

JL: Ender... No Perry... No Roxleigh... No Jacks. OK look can I take all four of them with me? PLEASE?!?!?!? (only if we can come along)

A woman out of time. A man stifled by propriety. A nemesis determined to take her away. A brother to the rescue.
How will a powerful Duke deal with a woman who doesn’t know her place?

Francine Larrabee woke up on the wrong side of the century. She was fairly certain she went to sleep in her own comfy bed, but she doesn’t quite seem to be there now. How does she find herself in the past, when she couldn’t find herself in the present? How does a self-sufficient businesswoman survive in a time when women were still considered property for the whole of their lives? What is she going to do with this man who draws her to him so fiercely.

The Rake and the Recluse: Redux a six part, illustrated, serial novel

brings Francine to the world of the Duke of Roxleigh, clashing worlds in the first installment of the completely revised novel, with all new material.
FOUND has Francine finding her footing, discovering secrets about her elusive host, and learning more about herself than she ever thought possible.
TAKEN brings Francine and Gideon closer than they ever imagined, until the unimaginable tears them apart. What will Gideo do if he loses her--this time, forever?
RUINATION is full of revelations, celebrations, protestations and one surprise that will have you holding your breath for the final chapters. What has Perry done?
SUBMISSION takes Perry away from Roxleigh House without a backward glance only to be tossed headlong into one of the most difficult trials of his life. How will he protect the very thing he is dedicated to pursuing? How will a man dedicated to the pursuit of pleasure survive a woman who refuses to relent, when he knows he cannot have her.
RETRIBUTION forces Perry to find the woman who has managed to capture his heart, then find a way to keep her. Someone else is on the hunt, someone from her past who doesn’t appreciate that she still lives and breathes.
