Jamie and Kati: Hi Anna! Welcome back to Romancing Rakes For The Love of Romance. Thanks for celebrating our 2nd Annual December Joyathon with us :)
Anna Campbell: Thanks for having me as your guest today. I love visiting Romancing Rakes for the Love of Romance!

J&K: Who is Anna Campbell during the holidays? (author, gift giver, last minute shopper, baker)
AC:
Last year, sadly, I was an author. Deadlines know no Santa Claus. This year, I hope to be a baker. I bought a new oven early in 2012 and I’m dying to put it through its paces with lots of seasonal goodies.

J&K: What’s your favorite holiday memory?
AC:
Lovely childhood Christmases on the family farm on the Queensland coast in Australia. Lots of love and laughter – and some scrumptious things to eat. Christmas occurs at the height of summer in Australia and I remember those Christmases as a series of perfect sunny days.

J&K: What’s the one holiday book everyone should read?
AC:
Let’s go old school and choose THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE by C.S. Lewis. You’re never too old for Narnia!

J&K: Which of your heroes would you go on a sleigh ride with? (with permission from the heroine of course)
AC:
Would you think I’m a lightskirt if I said ALL of them? Yeah, I thought so (anyway, they’d fight with one another!). My current crush in the hero world is Sir Richard Harmsworth from A RAKE’S MIDNIGHT KISS, the second book from the Sons of Sin series. I’ll go sleighing with him. He’s got a wicked sense of humor and he’s good with his hands – the horses appreciate that! LOL!

J&K: If you’ve written a holiday themed/titled book, what is it about? If you have not, would you write a holiday themed/titled book in the future?
AC:
Interesting you should ask that. It’s certainly something I’m thinking about. I’m a complete pushover for Christmas romances so why not write one? I haven’t yet but the day approaches!

J&K: What is the most annoying Christmas song?
AC:
I know that nobody will agree with me but Away in a Manger totally puts my teeth on edge.

J&K: What are you currently working on? Can you give us a sneak peak?
AC:
I’m currently writing book 3 of the Sons of Sin series (title to be confirmed), featuring Camden Rothermere, the Duke of Sedgemoor. It’s the kind of story I love as a reader and I’m so enjoying writing it – Mr. Perfect finds his beautifully arranged world comes undone when he falls in love.

Quick questions:
Real tree or fake tree? Real!
Specific gifts or gift cards? Gifts.
Fruit cake or gingerbread? Gingerbread. Hate fruitcake.
Snowmen or snow angels? Neither. I live in Australia where it’s airconditioning or swimming pool!
Home for the holidays or visiting relatives? Home.
Gifts under the tree throughout the month or Santa delivering all on Christmas Eve? Gifts throughout the month.
Author’s choice: I loved the sleigh ride question. Which hero from a romance novel would you like to go on a sleigh ride with? And why?
