Erin Nicholas is the author of sexy contemporary romances. Her stories have been described as toe-curling, enchanting, steamy and fun. She loves to write about reluctant heroes, flawed heroines, sex with food and happily ever afters. She does not like to write dark moments, synopses or bios. You can find Erin on the web at her site, the Naughty Nine Novelists blog, on Twitter and even on Facebook (when necessary).

Jamie and Kati: Who is Erin Nicholas?
Erin Nicholas: A woman with a lot of blessings. I’ve been a published author for 3 ½ years, writing sexy contemporaries for the fantastic Samhain Publishing and working with the wonderful Lindsey Faber as my editor. I’ve made lots of writer friends, found amazing new authors to read and had a lot of fun in that time!
I’m also a reader who loves contemporary romance first and foremost, but also loves to try other genres and new authors. I’m a wife to a guy who continually gives me more than I expect or deserve and mom to two awesome kids who I don’t just love but who I truly like and admire as well. I also work a “day job” that is very rewarding… 85% of the time! LOL
I’m very lucky in every way.
J&K: Tell us about your latest release [no copying blurb]
EN: My latest print release is Anything You Want. It’s a book that gave me huge fits during the writing, but that I’ve truly loved all along.
Sabrina is a woman who’s made more than a few mistakes but who’s always landed on her feet—until now. Now she’s faced with some consequences that she has to actually deal with for a change. So, she’s going home after four years on the road trying to make her dream of being a singer/songwriter come true. At home she hopes to just find a haven for a while. Instead, she finds a lot of complications. Like her father who thinks she’s a perpetual screw-up. Luke, her childhood best friend, who wants to fix everything for her by marrying her. And Marc, Luke’s brother, who drives her nuts and makes her tingle at the same time. Marc actually would like to have nothing to do with her, remembering her as a spoiled brat who broke his brother’s heart, but he can’t quit thinking about her and can’t quite leave her alone.
It’s an enemies-turned-lovers plot that is funny, and sweet, and sexy and emotional all at the same time.
J&K: Plotter or pantser?
EN: An unapologetic pantser
J&K: If you could write an anthology with 2 other authors, who would they be and what would the anthology be about?
EN: oh, wow, *any* other authors? I’d pick Susan Andersen and Susan Elizabeth Phillips probably—two authors I read over and over again. But there are *so* many. I’d also be thrilled to be in an anthology with any of the authors I co-blog with (the Nine Naughty Novelists).
It would have to be really sexy and it would likely be contemporary—that’s what I love best as a writer and reader. How about a group of people ship-wrecked on a tropical island? Or something set in Alaska—I just wrote a book set near Anchorage and *loved* researching it.
J&K: What can readers expect from you next?
EN: My next print release will be Hotblooded, in August. The follow up book to Anything You Want (Everything You’ve Got) was released in all e-formats in March. And I’m really excited to be releasing two more e-books this year, along with a short story, that continue my Bradford series. These books have been with me for a long time and lots of readers have been asking for them, so I’m so happy to get them out into the world! July will be the release of Just For Fun, Book 4 and then late October will be the release for Just A Kiss, Book 5. The short story, Just The Way I Like It, will be out in July as well. It will be available for free so check it out!
“Being so…all of this.”
“Sexy?” he suggested with a grin. “Hot? Hard to resist?”
She rolled her eyes, but couldn’t stop her smile. “Yes. All of it.”
“You think I’m hard to resist?” He sounded surprised.
“Isn’t that obvious?”
His smile changed from cocky to something much warmer. Her entire body felt it.
“It’s really, really fun, isn’t it?” he asked.
It really, really was. But she couldn’t shake the weirdness of it. This was Marc after all. Marc who had come to Wyoming to keep her away from Luke…
And that was what was bugging her.
“You’re very attentive for a guy who doesn’t like me much.”
“Until a couple of weeks ago, I didn’t like you at all.”
“Thanks for clarifying. And for making my point.”
“You’re wondering why I’m suddenly so…”
“Attentive is the word I’m most comfortable with.”
He chuckled. “Okay, you’re wondering why I’m suddenly so attentive.”
She wasn’t sure she wanted the answer to her next question. “Because you don’t want me with Luke?”
He crossed his arms and leaned his hip against the back counter. “I don’t want you with Luke.”
“Are you trying to make him look bad?” She regretted it as soon as she’d said it.
He looked very interested in that. “What does that mean?”
She shook her head. “Never mind. Forget it.”
She started to move past him, but he caught her arm and pulled her around to face him.
“I’m making him look bad?”
“You’re not trying?”
“Dammit, Seattle.” He hadn’t let go of her yet and he pulled her closer. He sounded intent rather than annoyed. “Tell me how I’m making him look bad.”
“You’re making me want you more than I want him.”
ANYTHING YOU WANT:
It figures the one time Sabrina Cassidy is determined to do the responsible thing, karma kicks in. After four years on the road chasing her musical dream, she’s stranded six hours from home with no money, a ruined credit history—and morning sickness.
Out of options, she swallows her legendary independent streak and calls the only person who won’t hang up on her. Luke, the man she left behind.
Marc Sterling’s first instinct is to protect his business partner and best friend from another broken heart. That means letting her think she’s talking to Luke, then finding a way to send her in the opposite direction.
When he shows up at her hotel room, there’s something in the air beside their customary insults. Sure, her rebellious attitude, smart mouth—and purple panties—still drive him crazy, but now it’s a different kind of crazy. The kind that has him driving her home instead of to the nearest airport.
And when Luke offers to solve all her problems if she’ll only say “I do”, Marc realizes he’s just crazy enough—about her—to forget whose heart he wanted to protect.
Warning: Contains two people who don’t like each other very much, a Toyota that can’t quite handle the road trip home, and a spontaneous proposal. Or two. Or three. And foreplay with—what else—pie filling.
