Casting Call with Vicky Dreiling + Giveaway

We met Vicky last year on Twitter and she's been in our lives ever since. It all started with our shared love of Henry Cavill and hot men which turned into Man Candy Monday. Vicky was the first blog tour we participated in (How to Seduce A Scoundrel) and she celebrated our first December Joyathon. She's fabulous, hilarious and you can even find our names in How To Ravish A Rake *squee* We lurve her characters and her stories.

Meet Vicky:
Vicky Dreiling is a confirmed historical romance junkie and Anglophile. Frequent business trips to the UK allowed her to indulge her passion for all things Regency England. Bath, Stonehenge, and Spencer House are among her favorite places. She is, however, truly sorry for accidentally setting off
a security alarm in Windsor Castle. That unfortunate incident led her British colleagues to nickname her “Trouble.” Vicky’s debut novel HOW TO MARRY A DUKE was named one of ALA Booklists Top 10 Romances for 2011 and was nominated by Romantic Times for Best First Historical Romance.

I’m all about the heroes when it comes to casting man candy. After all, I did create #mancandymonday on Twitter. Casting for the role of Tristan in How to Marry a Duke is super easy, because I found the perfect actor. I was looking for a guy with a square jaw and incredible blue eyes. I found him in The Tudors series on HBO: Henry Cavill. His fabulous good looks were perfect for the drop-dead handsome Duke of Shelbourne.

Here are some pics of Henry Cavill. You might need a bib for the drool!

Anyway, I’m eager to see Henry in Superman!

Genre: Historical
Length: 432 pages
Publisher: Forever (January 1,2011)

Tristan, the Duke of Shelbourne is a man with a mission: find a wife he can tolerate as long as they both shall live. No love is necessary—nor desired. But how to choose amid a dizzying array of wealthy-yet-witless candidates? Hire London’s infamously prim and proper matchmaker. Then pretend she’s not the most captivating woman he’s ever met . . .

Helping a devilish Duke create a contest to pick his perfect mate is the kind of challenge Tessa Mansfield relishes. Her methods may be scandalous, but she’s determined to find the notorious bachelor more than a wife—she’ll bring him true love. Yet when Tessa watches the women vie for the Duke’s affections, she longs to win his heart herself. And after a stolen kiss confirms Tristan’s desire, Tessa knows she has broken a matchmaker’s number one rule: never fall in love with the groom.
