Sealed with A Kiss: Shana Galen + Giveaway (US/CA)

Welcome to day two of our Sealed with A Kiss event. It's always a pleasure host Shana on the blog and today, Warrick Fitzhugh's letter brought a smile to our faces. We think it will leave a smile on your face as you head over to Dani's blog for Fallon's letter.

WELCOME BACK TO THE BLOG SHANA!!!

Meet Shana:

Most of those years were spent working in Houston's inner city. Now she writes full time. She’s happily married and has a daughter who is most definitely a romance heroine in the making. Dear Readers, I’d like to introduce you to Fallon and Warrick, the characters in my upcoming If You Give a Rake a Ruby. Fallon is one of the notorious Three Diamonds, Regency England’s most glamorous courtesans. She’s the most mysterious of the three, and she wants to keep her past shrouded in secrecy. Warrick is a spy for the Crown, and he’s been targeted by a vicious crime lord. Fallon has information Warrick needs, and he has no compunction about blackmailing her for it. They meet in her bedroom, when Fallon climbs into bed and finds Warrick already there.

I do not think I can forgive you this one, Pelham. Why have you not introduced me to the good friend of your wife, the Duchess of Pelham (formerly the Duchess of Dalliance)? I had occasion to meet with Fallon, AKA the Marchioness of Mystery, this evening, and I must say she is rather more than I expected. Smart, cunning, beautiful…exasperating. I am not at liberty to reveal the nature of our business, but suffice it to say, I do believe Fallon may have the key to the “diamonds” you and I have been looking for. Perhaps after I find the man holding the diamonds, Fallon and I will become better acquainted.

No, no, Old Boy. Do not warn me about my mother. The countess would undoubtedly suffer an apoplexy if I took up with a courtesan, but that is part of the fun, is it not? If you see your wife’s friend, do put in a good word for me, won’t you? It might smooth her ruffled feathers as far as the small issue of blackmail.

Sincerely,

HER MYSTERIOUS PAST IS THE BEST REVENGE . . .
Fallon, the Marchioness of Mystery, is a celebrated courtesan with her finger on the pulse of high society. She’s adored by men, hated by their wives. No one knows anything about her past, and she plans to keep it that way.

ONLY HE CAN OFFER HER A DAZZLING FUTURE . . .
Warrick Fitzhugh will do anything to protect his compatriots in the Foreign Office, including seduce Fallon, who he thinks can lead him to the deadliest crime lord in London. He knows he’s putting his life on the line . . .

To Warrick’s shock, Fallon is not who he thinks she is, and the secrets she’s keeping are exactly what make her his heart’s desire . . .

  3. Historical will always be my first love. I have lots of faves but if I had to choose one romantic couple it would be any of Christine Feehan's Carpathian couples from her Dark Series.

  4. Hmm, favorite couple, aside from your wonderful couples in your books? Well, I would have to choose Kev and Winn from Lisa Kleypas' "Seduce Me At Sunrise". He's your typical "tortured hero" and she is the "very fragile heroine".

I would love to read "If You Give A Rake A Ruby". :-)

  16. Hi Shana!

I first fell in love with your books when I read When Dashing Likes Danger from your Regency Spies series and since then haven't been able to resist picking up your following books!

I must admit I'm addicted to romantic historical series but must eeven though Lord and Lady Spies was written as a stand alone book and wasn't part of a series it was so wonderful that it's not to be missed! Have you ever thought about writing more books to link to it?

I loved When You Give a Duke a Diamond and am so glad that If You Gave A Rake a Ruby will be available in March! The Jewels of the Ton series is not to be missed. Congratulations!
