In Lessons in Indiscretion, widowed Lady Julia Renwick pursues the much younger Earl of Bedingfield and is shocked to discover she has much to learn from him when it comes to passion.
my very soul.
Trust that I am well and I do my best not to overtire myself. But it’s so very difficult when I have our son climbing all over me, begging to come see this and that, always running around my skirts. He so reminds me of you, Garrett. He has your eyes, your hair, your wicked sense of humor. That you’ve given me such a gift…it melts my heart every time I look at him. Knowing that we created him and are about to have another fills me with such complete happiness, I want to cry.
So I do cry. Being with child makes me overwrought with useless emotion so don’t fret, my love. They are tears of pure joy. Only a few years ago, I had nothing. No one. Then you asked me to dance and I asked you…well. I asked you something that I won’t mention in this letter but we both know what I’m referring to.
And now look at us. Married and with a family. Raising the future earl, embarking on yet another new adventure and loving each other fiercely. I am truly the luckiest woman in the world.
I miss you. I love you. I cannot wait until you come home.
Yours indefinitely,

As of this moment... fav couple is Eve and Roarke, but by tomorrow... it will be different as it always depends on what I am reading or have just read...
ReplyDeleteI love reading all of these letters. Can't wait to read all of these books
ReplyDeleteDarcy and Elizabeth. Westley and Buttercup. Eve and Roarke.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these wonderful letters.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my favorite couples are Cat and Bones, Charley and Reyes, and Charles and Anna(from Patricia Briggs' Alpha and Omega series).
My fav couple at the moment is Miranda & (Lord Benjamin) Archer from Kristen Callihan's Firelight.
ReplyDeleteReading both of these letters, it sounds like their story is beautiful! Your books look amazing, thank you for sharing these character's letters :)
ReplyDeleteReading all these letters just makes me want to read the books more. :) I love them. I'm sticking with my usual answer for heroes and heroines. I love Lisa Kleypas's couples, especially the Hathaways. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome letters! Thanks for sharing and congrats to Karen on the new release!
ReplyDeleteI have loved so many couple over the years that I can't remember all of the names anymore. I agree that Lisa Kleypas has some wonderful couples and there are so many more. I just enjoy reading about love and romance.
ReplyDeleteThat was such a sweet letter. I love epilogs and I love seeing couples with their HEA.
ReplyDeleteToday's favorite couple- Wulfric and Christine from Slightly Dangerous
ReplyDeleteThe Merry Widows sounds great. We get three stories instead of just one!
Currently my fave couple is Cross and Pippa from Sarah MacLean's new book.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite couple is Jamie and Claire Fraser. Don't enter me in the contest because I can't read e-books on this computer. But I love the blurbs and hope it's in print or will be.

My favorite romantic couple has always been Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler from "Gone With the Wind."
ReplyDeleteI will always like Westley and Princess Buttercup! Wonderful couple!
ReplyDeleteGreat letter! My favourite couple is Evie and Sebastian from Devil In Winter by Lisa Kleypas
ReplyDeleteMy favorite couple would have to be Rye and Laura from LaVyrle Spencer's Twice Loved. The book came out in 1984. I read it in high school around 1992 & have read the book at least once a year since then!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of these romantic letters! Usually my favorite couple is in the book I'm currently reading. Right now, it's Edward Byron and Claire Marsden in 'At the Duke's Pleasure' by Tracy Anne Warren. But I do love Rhett & Scarlet best of all. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteA favourite couple would be Elzabeth and Darcy!
ReplyDeleteJamie and Claire Fraser would be my favorite romantic couple right now. Their lives are full of constant danger but their love is pure :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway!
My favorite romantic couples don't come from books, but from Tv or the Movies. My favorite romantic couple of all time has to be Maddy & David from Moonlighting. Or Carly and Sonny from General Hospital although their relationship was quite volatile.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite romantic couple is Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. However, I just finished reading BEAUTY AND THE BOUNTY HUNTER, and I loved Alexei and Cat.
ReplyDeleteLove the letter. my favorite couple is Clara and Dalton, from Celeste Bradley's The Imposter.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read your books :)
ReplyDeleteAs for romantic couples I also like Anne and Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables.
Thanks,

The letters are great.
ReplyDeleteRomantic couple: Hunt and Sophie in Unlawful Contact
My favorite romance couple are Don Quixote and Dulcinea from Cervantes Don Quixote. I only wish that my husband was like Don Quixote and only saw the good side of me and would follow Don Quixote and completely ignore those little quirks (okay some not so little) that drive him crazy!
ReplyDeleteLess me honest here and admit that Dulcinea wasn't a princess but rather a tavern wench but good old Don managed to not pay attention to those little details! After all shouldn't a "hero" be willing to clean the house and do the dishes? Now that would be a true hero in my eyes!
Great romantic figures such as Scarlet and Rhett (Gone With The Wind) transport us to a very special place. I love the letters! I can't wait to read the whole book.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite couple is Jamie and Claire from the Outlander Series.
ReplyDeleteI love Eileen Wilks's Lily and Rule.
ReplyDeleteI love the letter. One of my favorite couples is Ace Keegan and Caitlin O'Shannessy in Keegan's Lady by Catherine Anderson.
ReplyDeleteThe letters between Garrett and Julia are beautifully written and so romantic. My favorite couple in romance is Eve and Roarke. They have dealt with so many issues and still have a loving relationship.
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a wonderful letter.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite are from Pride and Prejudice - Elizabeth Bennett Mr. Darcy.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite couple would be Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy!

I'm sticking with what I said before - the classic Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy (and their contemporary versions Bridget Jones & Mark Darcy) are some of my favorites.

Oh my gosh, that letter is so sweet! My favorite couple is...every time I answer this question I have a thouand different thoughts! I think one of my favorite couples ever is Phedre and Jocelyn from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series. It's not a romance per se but their story moves me. jepebATverizonDOTnet
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to come up with different couples so that I don't leave any out, but there are just so many that I love! One of my favorites from a paranormal series that I love by Kerrelyn Sparks is Angus & Emma from BE STILL MY VAMPIRE HEART.

Some of my favorite romance couples are Frost's Kat & Bones, Briggs' Mercy & Adam, Gabaldon's Claire & Jamie , Andrews' Kate & Curran and Lindsey's Georgina (aka George) & James Mallory.
ReplyDeleteRight now it's Rachel and Logan from Defiance by CJ Redwine :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been so great reading all the letters so far. I haven't read any of your books yet, but I have a few on my list.
ReplyDeleteIt's so very hard to pick just one favorite couple, most of the time it's the hero/heroine from the current book I'm reading. There are a few couples that always stand out, Lady Lyssa and Jacob from the Vampire Queen series by Joey W. Hill.
