WELCOME TO THE BLOG JENNIFER AND NINA!!!
Meet Jennifer:
Jennifer Haymore grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she surfed, learned how to fly airplanes, raced bicycles, and developed a love for sailing. She was an avid reader and completely destroyed her eyesight by sneaking a flashlight under her covers and reading far into the nights — making her mother wonder why on earth she couldn’t get up for school in the mornings…Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and a master’s degree in Education from UCLA. Before she became a full-time writer she held various jobs from bookselling to teaching inner-city children to playing bit roles in soap operas.
You can find Jennifer in Southern California trying to talk her husband into yet another trip to England, helping her three children with homework while brainstorming a new five-minute dinner menu, or crouched in a corner of the local bookstore writing her next novel.

Meet Nina:
Originally from California, Nina Rowan holds a PhD in Art History from McGill University, Montreal, with a specialization in 19th century French and Russian art. She began writing when she was an undergraduate at UCLA and lived a dual life as a student and a pseudonymous erotica author. She has studied Indian and Southeast Asian art and film, worked as a curatorial assistant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and traveled in India and Europe.A librarian-at-heart, she also holds an MA in Library and Information Sciences, a course of study that renewed a deep-seated interest in folklore and fairy tales. In addition to being an eternal student, or likely because of it, Nina possesses an abiding love for research that involves dusty, old books. She also thinks popcorn should be one of the four food groups. She lives in Wisconsin with her atmospheric scientist husband and two children.

Jennifer Haymore: Author, mother, editor, wife. My jobs keep me extremely busy and running around like a chicken with its head cut off most days!
J&K: Tell us a little bit about PLEASURES OF A TEMPTED LADY [no copying blurb :)]
JH: PLEASURES OF A TEMPTED LADY is the 3rd book in my Donovan Series. It’s about Meg Donovan, the twin who was lost at sea eight years ago, and her first love, Will. The other sisters (except the youngest) have all found mates and settled down, and then Meg returns to their lives, so damaged and vulnerable, she has a hard time letting anyone in. Will has loved Meg since the summer he lost her, and now he’s willing to do anything to get her back.
J&K: What can readers expect from you next?
JH: I’ve started writing a brand-new series, and I’m so excited about it! It’s call the House of Trent and it’s about a duke and his five siblings who, in the search for their missing mother, discover all sorts of horrible family secrets. I’m starting the second book in the series, and it’s proving to be so much fun!

Nina Rowan: Yes! Well, aside from a woman of mystery (though I’ll keep certain transgressions a secret…), I live in the Midwest, I’m a mother of two amazing children, and I’ve spent many, many years in school because I love learning. That’s why I enjoy writing historical romances so much—the research feeds my eternal student, who is always hungry.
I’ve also discovered that parenting and being an author are actually very similar. They’re both 24-hour jobs that take all your energy, creativity, patience, and love. And they often lead to much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
I’ve been lucky to have travelled quite a bit in my life, and one of my favorite trips was a visit to St. Petersburg, Russia. It’s no coincidence that my heroes are half-Russian! Now I’ve settled into the happy life of a writer with a crazy…er, I mean adoring family.
I read whenever I can, I still love John Cusack, I have a flower garden that is actually blooming, I love to bake but never do because I’d eat way too much, and I’ve recently taken up jogging. Really.
J&K: Tell us a little bit about A STUDY IN SEDUCTION [no copying blurb :)]
NR: A Study in Seduction is a sexy, intricate Victorian romance centering on Lydia Kellaway, a brilliant mathematician, and Alexander Hall, a viscount fighting a family scandal. When Lydia challenges Alexander to a wager for a locket that contains a shattering secret, they clash in a war of resolve and hearts. Only one of them can win, but will the battle destroy their love?
J&K: Do you have any writing rituals? (blasting music, utter silence, eating chocolate...)
NR: My writing ritual is writing. Writing, writing, and more writing.
But in order to write well, I do love silence. Blessed, blessed silence. I don’t like any noise when I’m writing. None. Nada. I don’t even talk to myself.
I get into a writing mindset by planting my butt in the chair right after getting the kids off to school, and I don’t get up until lunchtime. Then I eat a turkey sandwich, plant my butt in the chair again, and don’t get up until it’s time to retrieve the kids (see why I had to take up jogging?).
Oh, I do take one afternoon tea break that is critical for my well-being, so I’d say that’s probably my most inflexible ritual. Right behind writing!
J&K: What can readers expect from you next?
NR: A Passion for Pleasure, the next book in the Daring Hearts series, is coming next spring from Forever Romance! I’m very excited for this book, as it’s the story of the Earl of Rushton’s second son Sebastian, a renowned and talented musician who is suddenly faced with the loss of his career.
Sebastian meets Clara Winter, a woman who works at her uncle’s Museum of Automata and is hiding a desperate secret of her own. As their passion and love blossom, Sebastian and Clara are faced with heart-wrenching choices that could tear them apart forever.

A HEART DIVIDED
Blessed with an uncanny gift for mathematics, the lovely Lydia Kellaway can solve the most complex puzzles. The one thing she can’t figure out? How to manage the most infuriating man she’s ever encountered.
A PASSION MULTIPLIED
Alexander Hall, Viscount Northwood, has purchased a one-of-a-kind locket from a pawnshop, unaware of the priceless sentiment it holds for Lydia. The gentlemanly thing to do would be to simply return it. But Lydia sparks a desire that has Alexander curious to see just how bold this brilliant beauty will be…
A LOVE UNEQUALED
What begins as a playful wager quickly escalates into a contest of the minds, a clash of the wills—and a battle of the sexes—as their fiery attraction grows. Even a genius like Lydia can’t account for the feelings Alexander arouses with his smile, or the fire he ignites with his touch. But when a dark family secret is suddenly thrown into the equation, it just might divide them forever.
