Review Tour: Melt Into You by Roni Loren + Giveaway (US/CA)

We've had the lovely Miz Roni Loren on the blog a few times before and her Loving On The Edge books are a must read/auto buy for us. Her stories grip you from the first page until the last and the covers are smoking hot. You know how we feel about covers here at Romancing Rakes For The Love of Romance :) Today, we've got a review for Melt Into You and it took Kati what seemed like ages trying to find words to justify the amazingness of this book.

Meet Roni:

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in Dallas with her husband and son. If she’s not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars, er, rock concerts. Yeah, that's it. She is the author of The Loving on the Edge series from Berkley Heat.

MELT INTO YOU:

Her first love has returned, and he's brought a friend...

After running away from home and the boy who broke her heart, Evan Kennedy has
kick-started the perfect new life with her celebrity fiancé. So what if said fiancé prefers guys? She knew the deal. And with her ticket to The Ranch, an exclusive resort where any fantasy can be satisfied, she knows she can find someone to fulfill her less-than-traditional desires on the side.

She just never expected that man to be Jace Austin, her old heart-breaker—all grown up, hard-bodied, and holding out a collar. She knows it’s probably a world-class bad idea—especially since Jace has brought along his buddy Andre, who’s every bit as irresistible. But if they can stick to the no-strings rules, so can she.

Too bad Jace has never been so good with rules. Evan is convinced “forever” is a word used only in greeting cards, but Jace and Andre have one last fantasy of hers left to fulfill. It’s time to go big or go home. And neither man has ever been a fan of going home.

  3. Ok, I confess...I've read the entire Fifty Shades trilogy and that was my initiation to the alternative life style genre and I still have a lot to read. In my tbr list your name, as well as Sylvia Day, Shayla Black etc stands out. And it's not only for the experience of pushing sexual boudaries, but mostly to delve into an emotional depth that in the daily life rush and routine we tend to leave unexplored.

    1. The emotion is what draws me to it as well (though the hot sexy stuff doesn't hurt, lol). But without that layered emotion, then it can be a pretty boring read.

  4. I have read several series of books with the BDSM lifestyle theme, it fascinates me. I know it isn't a lifestyle I could do 24/7 but I think it would be hot in smaller doses.

  8. Roni, it is great that you have been writing since you were 15 years old. How old were you when you were first published? I have never read a BDSM book, but this one sounds really good.

Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  16. Hi Roni,
Congrats on the new releases. I have read many books with BDSM themes, and love them. Did you do a lot of research into this area before writing it?
*No need to enter me for the ecopy of STILL INTO YOU, I have already bought it. But I would love to be entered for the book grab bag :)

    1. Yes, there definitely is research involved. You want to make sure you get the culture and rules correct because people will definitely call you out on it if you don't lol.

  17. I haven't read too many in this genre, I just started reading it, I'm so intrigued by it. I definitely want to read these, they sound amazing, so thanks for a shot!

  18. I think the sexiest book I've ever read is the first erotic book that I read. Blaze by Susan Johnson. The hero was walking sex, gorgeous alpha male. But a very tiny woman, who was a spitfire was more than he could handle. It was a great story.
I'd love to read Melt Into You.

  19. Hmm, sexist book? I think it is probably Laid Bare by Lauren Dane. I love the journey that Erin and Todd take. And the characters actually communicate their needs. So sexy! jepebATverizonDOTnet

  20. Some of my favorite erotic romances with BDSM elements were written by Cherise Sinclair. She has a way of making these tough Doms melt when the right woman comes along.

  21. I recently read Bared to You by Sylvia Day and that was a sexy read. It was so intense and emotional and I like it. I like when characters really let out their feelings because it gives me a chance to know them better.

  26. One of sexiest books I ever read was Dare To Surrender by Lilli Fiesty. It had BDSM, spankings, and a plus-size heroine (which I love in stories because I'm also plus sized). The hero was a bad boy who rode a motorcyle AND was sensitive artist. I read it 18 months ago. Very good read!
