Hot Jocks Giveaway Hop (US)

Photobucket
Thanks to the ladies of Guilty Pleasures and Under The Covers Book Blog for organizing this fantastic, drool inducing hop! We're just one stop along the way but don't forget to check out all the other participating blogs. Lots of giveaways, lots of droolage and...what was I saying?

When you think 'hot jocks' football pads, tight pants that show off every movement of leg muscle, well defined abs, bulging biceps, perfectly sculpted assess...should we go on?
Isn't archery a sport in the Olympics or something?
Today we're offering these two books for your reading pleasure and we mean PLEASURE *smirk*

GAME FOR LOVE:
In a relationship built on lies...the only truth is their feelings for each other.

To fulfill his grandmother’s dying wish, linebacker Cole Taylor must find - and marry - a good girl. First grade teacher, Anna Davis, fits the bill perfectly. Their deal is simple: If she'll be his temporary wife, he'll give her more pleasure than she ever imagined possible.

Only, love is the ultimate game-changer.

FASTBALL:
Baseball reporter Maddie Leclair has spent years chasing her dream job—covering the major league team, the Philadelphia Patriots. Now that she’s landed the assignment she intends to make it big, with feature articles on the front page of every sports section in the country. But to do that, she needs to score an interview with the most private and elusive athlete in baseball, Patriots’ superstar Jake Miller.

On the rebound from a devastating injury that knocked him out of play for a season, Jake has a lot to prove to the suits in the head office. He’s sure he still has what it takes to win, and he’ll be damned if he lets anything get in the way of his climb back to the top of the charts.

The last thing Jake needs is a pushy female reporter distracting him. But one look at Maddie and he knows he’s in trouble. He finds himself trying for a different kind of play, one that involves bedrooms and not baseball stats. Sleeping together could damage both their careers, and Maddie is all about saying no. But when it comes to the game of love, Jake is playing to win.

We're giving away two(2) Kindle copies of GAME FOR LOVE by Bella Andre as well as one(1) Kindle copy of FASTBALL by VK Sykes. Open to US readers. Here's how to enter:

  2. Thanks for a great giveaway! I haven't read any great sports romances lately. I think the last I've read was Susan Elizabeth Phillip's football series?

  3. Since I live in New England most of my friends don't understand why my favorite sport is Nascar! My husband, sons and my boss can't fathom how I can enjoy something that involves just driving and turning left!

My husband helped to start our local soccer league and coached baseball when my sons were young and is a baseball umpire now from Little League, Middle School to High School and up to Connie Mack. Since we live in New England you won't be surprised to learn he loves baseball (Red Sox) and football (Patriots).

Give me Jimmie Johnson any day! I don't care if they only turn left (okay with an occasional "road race" thrown in)! I think it all goes back to my father only letting me drive a 1946 Oldsmobile when I was a teenager when I saw myself as being deserving of a nice little red car that could go fast. Believe me a 46 Oldsmobile doesn't go fast!

If I won either of these books I might at last be able to finally get my husband to read one of MY favorite books instead of him downloading and filling up my Kindle with all his baseball and football books! Come on, how interesting is it to read the rules of baseball from the 1800's?

  4. My favorite sport is hockey, preferably the NJ Devils and, of course, my favorite romances are Rachel Gibson's Chinook series, esp. "See Jane Run". I have it hermetically sealed so it won't age.
