Lovestruck Giveaway Hop (US)

The lovely ladies of Under the Covers Book Blog and Bona Fide Reflections are bringing you the Lovestruck Giveaway Hop. There are 100+ blogs that are sharing their most loved books, authors or series. We are just one stop along the way.

Ever have a book that you love sooo much, you think everyone should read it? Or maybe an author whose books you eagerly await and have pre-ordered the next book on the first day it is available for pre-order? Yup, you've been lovestruck!

We are featuring two of our favorite authors and both of them will be at RomCon. So hold on those panties ladies, we'll give you the giveaway details at the end of this post :)

Jamie: I love a good series mostly because I tend to fall in love with character and don't want to leave them after The End. I remember stumbling across Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series when I picked up The Duke and I and fell in love with not just Daphne and Simon but the rest of the crazy family.

I love Julia Quinn not only because she writes fabulously funny, romantic and witty stories but because she has created this whole world where her characters exists together. Fans of JQ have been attending the famous Smythe-Smith musicales for years and now her new series is giving those poor musically inept ladies their HEA.

Kati: The moment I opened the original ePub of The Rake and the Recluse: An Illustrated Romance by Jenn LeBlanc, I fell in love. Sure, the illustrations were gorgeous and HOT! But what drew me in was the story of Rox and Francine. Here was this woman who was finally going to get everything she worked for only to be thrown back in time. She's lost her voice, this angry Duke dude is all romance book broody and there's a crazy man after her but not her.

My love for her, her book and photography aren't a secret. She has an eye for candy without the calories, quotable quotes and memorable scenes (hellooo piano and painting!) and she's very accessible and so nice. Plus, her stock photo site is pretty fabulous! I dare you not to spend more than 5 minutes on that site.

At the moment I'm reading Johanna Lindsey's Malorys, can't believe I missed them before and I loved the Bridgertons of course. I'm also anxiously waiting for Thief of Shadows, the next in Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series.

  4. It is so hard to pick just one! I am a super fan of Johanna Lindsey's Malory family and Stephanie Laurens Cynster family. I really enjoy authors who link their stories through characters and events. I love seeing favorite characters reappear in a variety of book even if the role is small.
