Casting Call with Roni Loren + Giveaway

Where do we even begin with Roni Loren? She writes very sexy books (see Kati's review: Crash Into You), has a Boyfriend of the Week and her Tumblr is smokin' hot. Totally NSFW. She stopped by earlier in the year to share her debut release, Crash Into You, and we can't wait for the next book in her Loving on the Edge series, Melt Into You. Meet Roni:

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in Dallas with her husband and son. If she’s not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars, er, rock concerts. Yeah, that's it. I love looking at mancandy photos to get inspiration for my writing. Heck, I like it so much that I have a regular Boyfriend of the Week feature on my blog dedicated to aforementioned mancandy.

However, one of the hardest things I’ve found with my second book MELT INTO YOU is finding great blond hero inspiration pics. It seems we heavily lean toward the tall, dark, and handsome thing. I’ve joked with my agent that I need to stop writing blond heroes and heroines because it seems harder for the publisher to find great cover art with fair-haired people in them.

But I wasn’t going to change my hero, Jace. He’s blond and that is the only way I can picture him. Plus, Melt Into You has two heroes and the other one, Andre, is the tall, dark, and handsome one, so I needed a little variety.

I searched for the perfect celebrity inspiration, but then came across this pic on Tumblr and was like--yes, THIS is how Jace looks in my mind. I had to do some googling, but apparently this is model Andy Speer.

So, anyone want to switch places with my heroine for a little while? :)
