Thanks so much for having me. I will admit, the thought of my beloved books turning into movies makes me break out into a sweat. Let’s face it, books are almost always better than the movies, right? And how will my sexy characters that live in my head, ever be portrayed the correct way on the big screen? But I shall do my best to cast two of my favorite books.
As I sat here staring at my bookshelves, I knew I had to pick a romantic suspense book, with a military hero. I become weak around strong, daring military men. One of my favorite series is the Black Ops Inc series by Cindy Gerard and her first hero from Show No Mercy, Gabe Jones is just a smexy beast. He is a hard core warrior who meets a journalist by the name of Jenna McMillan in South America. To say they have a crazy adventure is an understatement.
So I need a man who is strong, a little on the wild side, and gruff. How about this guy?
Look, Hugh Jackman is already sweaty from being in the South American jungles!! Now he needs to be paired with a stubborn, strong, inquisitive female. Oh, who is also gorgeous with “riotous red hair.” I think Christina Hendricks might do the job just fine.
Show No Mercy is a really fun, kind of over the top romantic suspense that works so well. You meet the entire Black Ops Team, and they each get their own book in this series. I really enjoyed each one.

Hmm, tough question. Maybe Emma Stone for Jenna, though she doesn't really have the red curls like you mentioned. I like your pick for Gabe though! The first guy that pops into mind for military hero is Channing Tatum even though i don't really like him all that much.

Hmm a though military hero: I really like to see Bruce Willis in that role. But a readheaded actrice, well, they can always die their hair, so Nicole Kidman would be great.

ReplyDeleteHugh Jackman s definitely the one I cast as hero in every romance novel I read especially if it is about cowboys. He is one sexy beast. Love Christina Hendricks, but Diane Lane is my original ferocious red head. The actor who plays Alcide on True Blood would be a great military romance heo.
