Casting Call with Delilah Marvelle + Giveaway

Delilah Marvelle is one dirty birdie. Yeah, we said it. She's fun, fabulous and so flipping cute. We just want to carry her around (pocket sized Delilah; okay, that sounded less dirty in our minds). We met her last year at RomCon and we've been hooked since. Kati finally got Jamie to read a Delilah book (hello rock!) and she loved it. It astounds us that we haven't hosted Delilah before. Excuse our oversight!

WELCOME TO THE BLOG DELILAH!!!

Meet Delilah:
Delilah Marvelle spent her youth studying various languages, reading voraciously, and playing the pianoforte. She confesses that here ends the extent of her gentle breeding. She was a naughty child who was forever torturing her parents with countless adventures that they did not deem respectable. Confined to her room on many occasions due to these misadventures, she discovered the quill and its amazing power. Soon, to the dismay of her parents, she rather enjoyed being confined to her room and finished writing her first historical romance (which was a heart stopping 800 pages long...) at the age of 14.

FOREVER AND A DAY, the hero, Lord Roderick Gideon Tremayne would be played by none other than my hunk of all historical hunks, Richard Armitage.

I just see him playing the part beautifully, being all dashing and serious and angsty and all, while still making my heart flutter in the way it should, lol.

Heroine, Georgia Milton, would be played by Christina Hendricks with her red hair and sassiness. She would totally be able to bring bad ass freckled Georgia to life with just a stare.

FOREVER AND A DAY:
Genre: Historical
Length: 384 pages
Publisher: HQN (December 20,2011)

Roderick Gideon Tremayne, the recently appointed Duke of Wentworth, never expected to find himself in New York City, tracking down a mysterious map important to his late mother. And he certainly never expected to be injured, only to wake up with no memory of who he is. But when he sees the fiery-haired beauty who's taken it upon herself to rescue him, suddenly his memory is the last thing on his mind.

Georgia Milton, the young head of New York's notorious Forty Thieves, feels responsible for the man who was trying to save her bag from a thief. But she's not prepared for the fierce passion he ignites within her. When his memory begins to return, her whole world is threatened, and Roderick must choose between the life he forgot and the life he never knew existed.

    1. Just a quick note to say when I went to the main entry to click on Delilah's name it was as if I hadn't commented on any of the entries so I did it again. I just don't want you to think I tried to enter duplicate times. :)

  6. Richard would definitely work. He looks familiar but I can't place him. The cover model reminds me of another dark featured actor, Scott Cohen (plays Nico on USA Network's Necessary Roughness).

  9. I love to think about Richard Armitage anyway, so thinking of him while reading Delilah's book will be a treat! I first saw Christina Hendricks in Firefly as the evil seductress of Mal, so I agree that she could definitely bring sassy to the table.

  22. Deliliah -

Your character "role models" are perfect just like your stories! The only difference is that while your actors are a perfect fit when writing your books you always think out of the box!
