WELCOME TO THE BLOG DELILAH!!!
Meet Delilah:
Delilah Marvelle spent her youth studying various languages, reading voraciously, and playing the pianoforte. She confesses that here ends the extent of her gentle breeding. She was a naughty child who was forever torturing her parents with countless adventures that they did not deem respectable. Confined to her room on many occasions due to these misadventures, she discovered the quill and its amazing power. Soon, to the dismay of her parents, she rather enjoyed being confined to her room and finished writing her first historical romance (which was a heart stopping 800 pages long...) at the age of 14.

FOREVER AND A DAY, the hero, Lord Roderick Gideon Tremayne would be played by none other than my hunk of all historical hunks, Richard Armitage.
I just see him playing the part beautifully, being all dashing and serious and angsty and all, while still making my heart flutter in the way it should, lol.
Heroine, Georgia Milton, would be played by Christina Hendricks with her red hair and sassiness. She would totally be able to bring bad ass freckled Georgia to life with just a stare.
FOREVER AND A DAY:

Roderick Gideon Tremayne, the recently appointed Duke of Wentworth, never expected to find himself in New York City, tracking down a mysterious map important to his late mother. But when he sees the fiery-haired beauty who's taken it upon herself to rescue him, suddenly his memory is the last thing on his mind.
Georgia Milton, the young head of New York's notorious Forty Thieves, feels responsible for the man who was trying to save her bag from a thief. But she's not prepared for the fierce passion he ignites within her. When his memory begins to return, her whole world is threatened, and Roderick must choose between the life he forgot and the life he never knew existed.

ReplyDeleteGreat casting choices! You can see Christina Hendricks sassiness in that picture!!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices. From that photo, you can see Christina Hendricks having the smarts to be the head of the Forty Thieves.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun "casting"! I would love to read Delilah's books :)
ReplyDeleteI think they are perfect. He has the look of a Duke about him. I'm not familiar with Christina but she has the look of a sassy and independent woman.Really liked the trailer.

Just a quick note to say when I went to the main entry to click on Delilah's name it was as if I hadn't commented on any of the entries so I did it again. I just don't want you to think I tried to enter duplicate times. :)
DeleteCarol L.
I love your choices!
ReplyDeleteRichard would definitely work. He looks familiar but I can't place him. The cover model reminds me of another dark featured actor, Scott Cohen (plays Nico on USA Network's Necessary Roughness).
ReplyDeleteI love your choices! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteLovely choices, that actress looks a bit naughty already!
ReplyDeleteAnd I just received Rules of Engagement today, looking forward to reading your story in it!
I love to think about Richard Armitage anyway, so thinking of him while reading Delilah's book will be a treat! I first saw Christina Hendricks in Firefly as the evil seductress of Mal, so I agree that she could definitely bring sassy to the table.
ReplyDeleteI'm always surprised at the choices the authors have in mind when they write their characters. I rarely know who is whom?!? They're all good to me!
ReplyDeleteI love Richard Armitage. Great choice! I do not know the girl, but she looks like she could play the part.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway opportunity!
I think the casting choices Delilah made are excellent. I'd love to see Forever and a Day brought to life with this couple, it would be fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLove Christina Hendricks! She's a great choice!!!

ReplyDeleteDon't watch enough movies to have much of an opinion but I do so like the heroine cast. She's got such an elfin face.
ReplyDeleteShe's perfect for this kind of role!
ReplyDeleteYet another series I haven't read...I do read A LOT I swear it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pics just don't know enough about series...yet
Richard Armitage is, of course, PERFECT!!!!

ReplyDeleteYour character "role models" are perfect just like your stories! The only difference is that while your actors are a perfect fit when writing your books you always think out of the box!
Great choices! He looks the part and she could fit into any setting but you can see there is more to her by looking in her eyes!

Sorry to show my ignorance but those two look like lovely choices (-:
ReplyDeleteOkay I haven't read the book and I don't know who Richard Armitage is (though he is VERY hunky ;)), but I'd love to see Christina Hendricks as someone like that. So awesome choices.
ReplyDeleteOh my Delilah, you are a girl after my own heart! Richard Armitage, yay! :-D He is such a wonderful, swoonworthy actor, his Mr. Thornton made me say "Darcy who?" :-) Perfect choices, I wholeheartedly agree with you! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat choices. I love them, they are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing:)
I like the choice of Christina Hendricks. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteThey look like great picks, but I am not too familiar with Christina Hendricks. I have not seen much of her acting. I really like Richard Armitage though. :)
